Importing A Used Isuzu Elf

Monday, May 4th, 2009

If you are interested in driving a Isuzu Elf, then you need to find someone that can bring this truck into the United States for you.  You want to find Japanese used car exporters to do this, and by using one of these services you will save yourself time and money.  It is best to use a Japanese used car exporter that is based in Japan in order to save yourself money on importing taxes.  Plus, when you find Japanese used car exporters in Japan, you will find the used Isuzu Elf of your dreams.

The Isuzu Elf is a commercial truck that was manufactured in Japan for light duty service.  It rolled off the assembly line in 1962 and was designed for operation in Isuzu”s Asian market.  The vehicle was only for sale in the Asia and Japanese markets during the initial twenty years it was produced.  It was not until the 1980s that the Elf was brought to the United States and it has enjoyed a fairly good run.  It was eventually replaced by the Isuzu throughout the international markets at about the same time the Elf was brought to the United States.

While it is no longer available in the United States, cheap Elf is still highly popular and used in Australia.  Many of them are being made in the country using locally produced parts.  In 2005 a new edition of the Elf was launched and it addressed many of the safety issues that were discovered since its initial introduction to the world.  A hybrid version, the Elf Eco Hybrid, is also being produced, but it is only for sale in Japan.  Of course, if you are interested in one of these hybrid Isuzu Elfs you can inquire with a Japanese used car exporter to see if one of them is available for sale.
